Waltham, MA, Oct. 28, 2013 – Profitect, a global leader in pattern seeking analytic solutions for retail, is pleased to announce the appointment of Deborah Weinswig to Chief Customer Officer.
Reporting directly to the CEO, Deborah will be responsible for ensuring Profitect customers achieve the metrics that matter most to Wall Street. Using the voice of the customer and her in-depth knowledge of retail market needs, Deborah will guide Profitect product strategy to maximize customer value, operational excellence, and profitability.
Deborah was most recently at Citi Research for almost 12 years where she led the Retailing/Broadlines and Food & Drug Chains teams, and was the Global Consumer Discretionary Sector Head. In the past ten years, Deborah has been one of the top ranked analysts in the Institutional Investor Survey for Retailing/Department Stores and Broadlines in the Retailing/Food & Drug Sector. In 2012, Deborah received ICSC’s Researcher Award for Outstanding Service and was also ranked as one of The 36 Best Analysts on Wall Street by Business Insider. Since 2002, Deborah has been identified as the top ranking analyst in the Retailing/Broadlines Industry as Earnings Estimator, and ranked second or third place as a Stock Picker by StarMine.

Prior to her tenure at Bear Stearns, Deborah was a member of the global strategy team at Morgan Stanley, where she had primary responsibility for the Competitive Edge fund.
