Now in its seventh year, RetailROI brings together some of retail’s most prominent thinkers to discuss the convergence of marketing and technology, while raising funds that have helped more than 175,000 children worldwide.
RISE, a new invitation-only conference created by Toshiba Corp. to celebrate inspirational women in digital and retail technology, discusses topics and trends affecting retail today, including new research on economics and demographics. It also provides networking opportunities. FBIC is a sponsor of the daylong conference. Other speakers include Nadia Shouraboura, Founder and CEO of Hointer; Kim Feil, CEO of BizHive; Daniella Yacobovsky, Co-Founder of BaubleBar; Janie Yu, Partner of Fung Capital; and Sallie L. Krawchek, Chair of professional woman’s network Ellevate.
“Retail is undergoing a revolution of epic proportions thanks to e-commerce and other emerging technologies, and women have been at the forefront of those changes as developers, investors, executives and entrepreneurs,” Weinswig adds. “I’m delighted to be a part of RISE’s first conference recognizing this, and looking forward to this becoming an annual event.”
