NEW YORK (April 15, 2015) – The retail landscape is being transformed by e-commerce, omnichannel, beacons, showrooming, O2O platforms, and other innovations that must considered when discussing integrating technology into the real estate decision making process.The impact of technology on retail and real estate is a global phenomenon, and Fung Business Intelligence Centre Executive Director-Head of Global Retail & Technology Deborah Weinswig will offer her views on the evolution and future of this process as a speaker and panelist at the Urban Land Institute Hong Kong’s discussion of “Retail x Real Estate x Technology.”

The event will be held Wednesday, April 15, 2015, from 5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. at the 9/F Sky Garden of the California Tower in Hong Kong. Among topics to be covered are how current consumer trends and technological innovations in Asia will affect retail real estate, and how technology must be considered in the decision-making and design process.

relationship between retailers and their customers, and retailers’ real estate needs throughout the world. I’m honored to share the stage with such a wonderful and knowledgeable panel,” Weinswig said.
